Missouri pitcher Aaron Crow was selected ninth overall by the Washington Nationals in Thursday’s Major League Baseball draft. It was the highest draft pick in Missouri history and only the second time a Missouri player was selected in the first round.

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide beat the MU Tigers 7-1 on Saturday in the NCAA Super Regionals. The loss eliminated Missouri from the tournament.
