Stephens swimmers second at invitational

The Stephens swim team was second Saturday at the Lindenwood Invitational with 74.5 points. Lindenwood won with 114.5.

Stephens won four of the first six events, but they could not match the depth of the Lions.

Senior Jenn Shaw led the Stars with wins in the 200 individual medely and 500 freestyle (in a school record 5:27.63).

Sophomore Emily Younghouse won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, while Lauren Holman, a freshman from Hickman, won the 50 freestyle.
