COLUMBIA — Columbia police are looking for suspects in a drive-by shooting that damaged several vehicles in northeast Columbia on Monday night.

At about 11:39 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Olympic Boulevard and Olympic Court, a Columbia Police Department release said. When they arrived, witnesses told police that a dark-colored vehicle had driven by 3922 Olympic Court and someone inside fired several shots.

Interviews revealed that the shooting happened just as a 62-year-old woman, 20-year-old woman and 2-year-old boy returned to their residence in a vehicle and a 17-year-old woman and 19-year-old man were standing outside another vehicle parked on the street. The occupants of the vehicle fired several shots in their direction, but no one was injured, the release said.

Officers later found bullet casings and damaged vehicles in the area.
