COLUMBIA — The Salvation Army’s Annual Thanksgiving meal will be relocated this year to Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken Restaurant, at 2316 Paris Road.
Since 1990, the dinner has been held at Everett’s Steak House at 1601 Rangeline St. The restaurant closed Sunday, leaving the annual holiday dinner in limbo.
Scrambling to find a new venue, Salvation Army officials toured Lee’s this morning.
The traditional turkey dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22. Anyone wishing to have a meal is invited.
